My pink panther video soundtrack edits

Objective: The task we had was to make a soundtrack for a clip of Pink panther using Cubase.

Task1: I searched for sound effects and uploaded the ones I wanted onto Cubase 5. Here is a list of the sound effects I added at certain points in the video.

1: At 00:31 seconds I had the sound of a race car.

2: At 00:33 seconds I had the sound of a car horn.

3: At 00: 34 seconds I had the sound of a car horn again.

4: At 00:34 seconds I had the sound of a car horn again.

5: At 00:34 seconds I had the sound of a plane low.

6: At 00:35 I had the sound of a saxophone.

7: At 00:35 I had the sound of a robot arm.

8: At 00:35 I had the sound of a siren.

9: At 00: 36 I had the sound of a siren again.

10: At 00:37 I had the sound of a siren again.

11: At 00:39 I had the sound of a Scream.

12: At 00: 40 I had the sound of a scream again.

I had may more sounds on Cubase but unfortunately along with the majority of my files for this programme I lost most of my sound effects too. Many other people in the class have the same problem. I am trying to work my way around this by explaining what I should have done 9had my files not gone corrupt).

Task 2:

In task 2 we were supposed to add a musical background so that it could blend in with the SFX. I made a small, simple track off my own for me to play in the background of the video; however this was one of the files that have gone corrupt for me.

Task 3:

In task 3 we were meant to record our own sounds with mikes and then add them to the Pink panther video to blend in with the other music and SFX I had already added. I didn’t mage to get to this task because I was having so many problems with the rest of my video editing and sound editing.
